Additional information

Usually, there are representatives from five different local entities, including:
  • 1) Department of Planning and Investment represented by Investment Promotion Center;
  • 2) Department of Natural Resources and Environment;
  • 3) Department of Construction;
  • 4) Other relevant agencies or departments depending on the investment project nature; and
  • 5) Local District and Commune People's Committee.

After the visit, DPI will hold a meeting to discuss the investor's investment intention and a minutes of meeting will be produced which records the discussion of the meeting and indicates:
  • 1) whether the investor's investment intention is suitable with local development
  • 2) whether the land site which the investor is interested in is suitable for investment; and
  • 3) who will be responsible for processing the Provincial People's Committee's approval of investment intent.
