Investors should refer to Appendix II, Decree 18/2015/ND-CP above to know if they need to produce an environment impact assessment report. Only environment protection commitment is required if your project does not fall into this list.

Investors are eligible for preparing the environment impact assessment (EIA) report themselves if they employ adequate number of qualified environmental engineers and equipment in compliance with Article 13 of Decree 18/2015/ND-CP re strategic environment assessments, environment impact assessment reports and environment protection plans. If not, they need to enter a service contract with a capable environmental engineering service provider for the production of an EIA report. The cost for this type of service is between VND 70 to 140 million.
