Additional information

In producing an environmental impact assessment report, investors may:
  • 1) do the job themselves if sufficient qualified technical experts are deployed for the task in accordance with Article 16, Decree 29/2011/ND-CP dated 18/04/2011 specifying protocols on strategic environment assessments, environment impact assessments and environment protection commitment; or
  • 2) outsource the EIA report production to any qualified environmental technology consultant service provider if not qualified for the conditions of the Decree.
In case of outsourcing the production of an EIA report, the cost is between VND 70 and 140 million.
